A.K.M ( Akim ,Automatic Kill Mode, Ancient Knowledge & Mathematics, etc.) is cofounder of the Los Angeles based underground hip-hop group Cypha 7. Known for their dynamic live performances C7 officially launched their career in 1998 releasing an underground classic LP entitled Pages from the Book of Life (Afterlife Records). Since then they have recorded and toured with rap legend Shock G (Digital Underground), Myka 9 (Freestyle Fellowship), Very (AfroClassics), and Xnco and 2Mex (OMD), Baby S and L.A underground queen Medusa. Akim has also appeared in several film productions such as “Camjackers “(credit) “This is the Life” (credit) and award winning documentary ”Freestyle” (credit). Once affiliated with Project Blowed, Cypha 7 has also featured on several compilations including Welcome to the Afterlife, The Good Brothers and Project Blowed volumes 1 and 2. A.K.M is also a member of The Get That Money Boys Coir under the alias Big Bad Black Jesus JR.
